We’ve found over the years that sometimes the Subaru ignition coils just fail. We’ve seen them physically melted in some instances. This can be more common on cars that are run very hard for a long length of time — cars used in HPDE/track driving seem to suffer more frequent ignition coil failures.
This is an OEM Subaru factory replacement ignition coil.
Terminology note: Technically speaking, this is a single ignition coil, and a “coil pack” would be a bundled set of two or more ignition coils, which is not how they are implemented on modern Subarus. That said, colloquially these individual ignition coils have come to be known as coil packs, and many of our customers search for them using that terminology.?In any case, these?are single ignition coils. If you need a full set of four, purchase four.
Sold individually.
Fits all 2022+ BRZ/GR86.?
